Hester has Hobbies

A visiting friend once called me over, saying: 'Hester, I think your cat is broken!' I sprinted to the kitchen, worried something was very, very wrong. When I came into the room, I started laughing and told my friend that Joris is just an idiot and doesn't know how to drink like a normal cat. (I've tried different sized bowls, dishes, locations and heights. Sometimes he drinks 'normally', he just prefers to do it this way.) #catsofmastodon #caturday

Hello everyone! I'm Hester and I have hobbies. Quite a lot of them. I'm into #writing, #reading, #crochet, #linocut printing, #zine making and at the moment I am mostly #CrossStitching I'm fairly new to #crossstitch and to mastodom, so I'm trying to find my feet. This is it for my #introduction so far. If you have questions or any tips about mastodon, I'd love to hear from you! I hope you have a lovely day.

This little gentleman turned 11 today! #catsofmastodon #happybirthday

Consider my flabber gasted. I did not expect such a huge amount of love and attention on my first day here on mastondon. Thank you for the warm welcome! As a token of my thanks, I offer you a picture of my #cat Joris:

Happy #Caturday! Joris is excited to see you and happily awaits your tribute. You did bring tribute, didn't you?

@ossington@mastodon.xyz hahaha this is brilliant and hilarious

Kitting up for a new start! It doesn't seem obvious when looking at these colours, but this #crossstitch project will be an underwater scene. Starting this colourful piece tomorrow, can't wait.
