Chaos theory

This article demands to be read by the world, right through to the end.

Laura Tingle unafraid to state facts:

"This is not just a story about the killing of journalists, bad as that may be.

But it is about the apparent impunity with which Israel now acts, the exceptionalism which it asserts, and the fact that — like the US president who has empowered the Israeli government — there appears to be no normal guardrails on its actions.

That applies not just to how it treats journalists and ordinary people, but how it strides the world stage and attempts to influence global events.

There are many bad, rogue states at work in the world these days. But the world has continued to back some of them, even when their actions no longer tally with the values we supposedly hold."

Could we run a viral "What would Jesus do" quiz?

Make it current political climate scenario based.

One scenario per day/week, with multiple choice answers.

One answer being comparable to what Jesus actually did/taught, the others being a current policies/actions/ religious teaching that highlight hypocrisy.

It would need to be well-researched and watertight, but also engaging. Thought-provoking without being too angry.

I am not religious, but I would raised in an extremely religious household and what passes for Christianity makes me want to vomit.

I would love to incorporate other religious examples too, but I am not as au fait with other religions.

Anyway, it's an idea I'm toying with.
