I went to an industry event today. It was all theme park designers, engineers, and people in related fields.

The show was almost entirely reused bits from previous shows. Which is absolutely fine.
And, I get why, but I'm super disappointed about how they used gen AI art for the new bits. They're used as "internet popup ads" and as critique of it, but they could've used real art as the stand in.

When I help out new players most have had avatars but I've never had anyone push back when I said "we can do that later, but right now let's go do x"
