Feeling encouraged in my decision to leave the software industry and pursue an MA LIS (Library Information Services) after reading this article and associated column. One of my goals in going back to school is to learn how to manage the information apocalypse caused by Generative AI, and it is heartening to see librarians across the country already doing that work.
If I have time, I'd like to adapt this for a talk at Furry Migration this year.
