I try to wear some home-made garments everyday and dislike taking photos so I am not really participating in Me-made-May, but as I put on my newly finished knitting it occurred to me that:
- It is may
- I am wearing lots of things I made myself
- For once I got a photo taken on daylight, in the garden.
Maybe it was The MMMday?

Then I chickened out of showing it and here is only a cropped image.

Yarn : Kibou, by Noro a Japanese yarn company I love. No pattern used.

I needed something simple to stitch, so finally got to add a couple of pseudo-tags to handmade tops. Their only purpose is to help me put them on right the first time, even in the dark. I added a date to one, but embroidery is not fun with sewing thread and needle.

I used tiny bits of leftover fabric from the pretty « organiseur » I made last week. The pattern and fabric kit are from my preferred online source for quilting fabric in Switzerland : Cotton and Color.

Plus futile mais toujours dans le thème, j’ai emprunté à la bibliothèque numérique De fil en aiguille, comédie légère dont l’héroïne est tricoteuse.

Pour la première fois depuis des décennies, je ressens le désir de tricoter des minis pulls pour des poupées.
(Première fois tout court pour des Barbie! Les poupées pour lesquelles je bricolais et cousais gamine étaient plus petites, moins sexy, avec une large tête et un corps en tissu. Je me demande si j’arriverais à en retrouver…)

@minego As a knitter this makes me weirdly uncomfortable. This is like a 3D print of one of these nightmarish AI images. The ones that people send me asking How can I knit this? Spoiler alert: no one can. Also people are selling AI produced impossible knitting patterns for impossible objects like this one. My craft is under attack. But apparently you can print it in plastic with 3D. Which is fundamentally more honest in a weird way. 😹 🧩🧠

Ce lied est dans ma tête en boucle depuis plus d’une semaine.
C’est en partie à cause du fait que j’ai cherché la meilleure version possible disponible en ligne.
Pour l’instant c’est celle-ci que je préfère. En plus elle affiche le texte, qui est sublime, ce qui me permet de l’apprendre (seul moyen de le sortir de mon cerveau?)

Mainly for the creative content in YT and because transitioning to another mail address seems complicate for many reasons. The other two were easy and done years ago. (Made easier by the fact that I always refused to join Whattsapp, and never really liked FB, X, any Microsoft products etc. I recognise my privilege!) In my professional life I have no choice but to use MS and other big commercial products and that is infuriating.
