It doesn't seem to do it with every game though, for some reason. Not doing it with Portal 2.
This is actually one of the reasons I use Nothing Tech products, because they actually manage this fairly well. The sounds are pleasant and the glyphs are very helpful in the same way notification lights were back in the day.
Although - there are a lot of situations were I don't want notification sounds at all and frequently forget to turn DND back off.
I'm of course aware though that Nothing Tech stuff has it's problems as well.
The music I've been listening to the most in December 2025 until February 2026!
