Well, that's the easy part sorted.

@Em0nM4stodon I hate that I have no way of opting myself out of other people sharing my data.
My Frigate setup appears to be progressing nicely. I'm switching over from Blue Iris and so far pleased with its performance. It's definitely a bonus not having to admin a Windows server VM, too.

Finished it. This was a lot of fun. The design work that goes into these is pretty dang cool.

@CursedSilicon yes Linux the operating system so well-known for excellently crafted graphics card drivers.

@geerlingguy@mastodon.social nice 8-way resistive divider. Looks like an LNA at the RF input and a matching network right before each tuner IC. Is the RP2350 tied into the I2C SMBus? I think that's available on each PCIe slot?

It has a tiny shuttlecraft in the upper shuttle bay!

Well, bummer. Turns out a low-profile card plus this riser is about 4-5mm taller than a standard height PCIe card and it won't fit in a Dell R730 slot.

@SomeVeganCheeseIsOk@mastodon.social on-prem as in traditional self-hosted infrastructure and services as opposed to cloud (aka someone else's computer)
Can't say I've seen elevator call buttons quite like this before. @deviantollam@defcon.social ?

@eljojo@ruby.social Kantronics KPC-9612 into a Motorola GM300. Now I need to get Asterisk accepting calls and prompting for DTMF to send on to the 9612.

@SomeVeganCheeseIsOk@mastodon.social I'm not in Seattle and relocation is not an option. I don't live near any tech hubs which is why I specified "remote" in my post.
PCIe PRI card didn't come with a low profile bracket...so I made it into one. Bench vise, hammer, nibbler and needle files. Unfortunately despite the bend location being spot on (less than 0.1mm from the reference bracket!) it doesn't fit right :(

@aredridel@better.boston I'm interested in the code! Would love to see how you're pulling or flagging the OSM metadata there.

@cyd@infosec.exchange any chance of a release before the new "we're gonna slurp up all your data for AI training" terms of service take effect on Friday? :/

@NBAnthony2k@mastodo.neoliber.al Remote. I'm on the US west coast but not near any tech hubs and relocation is not an option.

@artychan@mastodon.social applied to a few roles there and was immediately rejected :( I don't have k8s experience which has hurt me for a few potential roles, despite having a grasp of containerization mechanisms of operation and related security issues. Also I'd probably fit more as the Staff level there, I was an L6/senior at Amazon (goes L4, L5, L6, and then L7 is principal)

@ansible42@social.ridetrans.it I'm not in Seattle. I specifically listed "remote" in my post.
