The slop sites (that just contain LLM output) that come up when you search for something reminds me of the time where searching for something returned websites that basically are a search engine itself (and return the search results of a similar query)

See, I could've done it much faster if you allow me to edit it via a text editor, but somehow they don't expect technical people use their technical software.

It became annoying enough to connect another router with its own DHCP so I can have an IPv4 only network *just* for my Fairphone 6. Dropouts are gone now, at the expense of no IPv6 support.

It's fine, I don't care that much about IPv6, but it sucks that - for many years - we still don't have widespread support for it...

My phone carrier (3rd party using the Vodafone network) still doesn't support it, which baffles me, since there are probably more phones around than there are IPv4 addresses (minus the technical nuances)

Being in the UK for the weekend means I got to experience Discord forcing the age verification bullshit to access NSFW channels..

...but only when I am on WiFi. When I switch to my mobile data (Roaming*), it disappears after restarting Discord lmao

I guess it still thinks I'm in the Netherlands, as it doesn't have age verification (.....yet >v>)

(*don't worry, I pay the same per MBs as home, luckily enough)

Every time I interact with Microsoft's online services, I can grab a coffee and watch a movie before it finished doing anything.

It's been loading a simple thing for over 3 minutes now
