Working on E and A pentatonic scales on guitar, a strumming pattern, doing a spider warm-up moving up and down frets.
So I guess I'm not buning a house. This area is too expensive. I just got calmly told my mortage would be over 4 thousand even with 70thousand down. You know what? I'll just keep paying the 240 in rent and save my money till I have even more. And these lenders don't really explain anything and just make you feel like you should be grateful. My husband wanted to do this. I keep telling him, you hate paperwork. You will hate this. and frankly 600 thousand for less than 2000 square feet is just assinine.

@podfeet@chaos.social @technocounselor@caneandable.social So I'm confused. Is it supposed to start immediately. I mean, obviously taking that long to press a button is a no, but that seems odd. I just got my streamdeck but I'm on Windows.

@Woody@dragonscave.space Good. I have to take most cases off things because the front edges bite into my hand when I read. I immediately divested the Brailliant and Monarch of their cases. But xwd be nice to keep the Evolve in its case for sleep and such.
I like the new magnetic cable. The nub is quite tiny and I am all nervous how I will get it out of my Brailliant but I can just tell by how the cable hangs and it's not twisting in the port. The part going into the port is very flat and unobtrusive.
@brian@leaseysocial.com thank you for Braille. I need to update my Leasey now that I use the annual subscription and not my serial number. I forget how the Lsey key is handl with Braille. I have a Brailliant.
Great now it just says things like button and check blah blah.
shit! Now I'm fubar. Transcribe only lets you copy the transcript to the clipboard or save the summary. It's copying like three lines of the transcript even though I can read it all in the file.

@ner@fwoof.space I'm so thankful for my beautiful upright piano. Keyboards are lovely and I have those too, but nothing beats an acoustic.

@ner@fwoof.space What the hell? So typical. I've hadthresponse. Unfortunately shelters are not much better. It's so sad.
I think I'd like one of these magnetic nubs for the Monarch for charging, but I worry it would get lost in the chassie or not get enough power. Although you just attach the magnet part to your existing cable.

@Woody@dragonscave.space I look forward to hearing about that as I was planning to reinstall Leasey. I used to have it on my system, but was super nervous because my work software can be so whacky. I'd love to try it on the Evolve. Have you found any programs yet that do not work as well on the Evolve as other computers.
This is the problem with using cloud transcription. Something is clearly wrong coming down from the pipeline. I mean saying pause transcribe pause transcribe something is wrong. And of course even though I told them to leave my oversion of software on it no longer works. Yay!
Now if the transcription could just be in realtime so I could read back to the ttorneys or if Perspective Transcribe could format things like quack as the question symbol. I need a CAT software on my iphone for when Windows goes stupid. And I don't know what's gone stupid. That means I'll have to deal with half inept support to fix it.
Oh, my God. I cannot get my court reporting poftware to transcribe. It just says pause transcribe instead of what I say. So I am praying that Transcribe is hearing my voice clearly but what I hate is I can't us

@jakobrosin That's unfortunate. Thanks for the clear explanation. I'm definitely kooking for the day when it can be more agentic and took more actions on websites and things that are not accessible.
I asked the credit union was there any way to lower that estimate. They said no. I said forgetx. I will save more and pay you less or none when I buy my own house outright because you're committing highway robbery. Yes, I wrote that. Now I wish I hadn't been that snarky, but he seemed smarmy.

@TheQuinbox @Jage @Jonathan @BTyson Oh, cool. Well, I will most likely not be reinstalling 10. i wish there were just easier ways in general to mess with those things even after set up. Thanks for making all the nice programs.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Does it work with NVDA in Braille? I have not downloaded Paperback yet but thought about testing the Evolve. Aren't you getting an Evolve?
I really hope I do not regret this. Humanware tech support suggested I buy a magnetic charging adapter for my Brailliant instead of normal Usb because I somehow and I swear I did nothing out of the ordinary but somehowI wrecked my last Usb port to the tune of 800 dollars. I do not want a repeat performance. The problem, the nub barely sticks it. My husband is worried we won't get it out with our fingers. I guess I can't blame Claude. I did ask for a low-profile. Usb ports just hate me.
I now have up and down volume toggles for my most used apps on the stream deck.
We are not buying a house. I am not paying almost one and a half times my rent to have a house of the same size and with all the responsibility. That does not sound like an enjoyable prospect. Sure. They raise my rent every year, but the house is still decent. It's not the worst neighborhood, and just the prelim stuff was making me ill. So I'm going back to enjoying my music, rabbit, hubby, and making more money. I will keep saving. IT may take five or ten years but I will buy my house outright.
Aw, I missed the Blazie think about BT Braille. I wanted to listen. I fell asleep.

@Tamasg Isn't paying the IRS our hard-earned just the greatest? I was early with mine and it sucked to send off the money, but I felt better for doing it. I have a business so always have to pay.
