After trying, and failing, for about a week now, to get off my arse and tackle the growing chaos my flat is descending into, I've decided to try channeling a bit of Mustrum Ridcully, my favourite Discworld character. Since overthinking and focussing on how overwhelming the mess seems is clearly not working, hopefully the opposite approach will be more effective.
Ridcully's solution to a problem is basically: charge in and whollop it with a big stick until it stops being a problem. So here goes...

Either someone nearby is having a very late barbecue, there's a campfire going somewhere, or something's on fire. Judging by the lack of sirens and screaming, I'm guessing it's one of the former two.
Whatever the cause, it's a definite improvement on the cigarette pong that usually wafts in in the evening. 😌 🔥
Look what the postman just brought. 🐬 🛌🏻 Hopefully this'll be an insentive to actually start making the bed once I've levered myself out of it.
