@tobymarkowitz That would be correct! Many moons ago now, and it was certainly a surprise to see a street named this out here in Colorado (first came across it over 20 years ago, and I take a pic of it every time I pass it 😁)
@MartyCormack@urbanists.social @wav3ydave@mas.to May 22, 2022 … several inches, so not a huge storm, but certainly put a wrinkle into riding outside for a day or two (at least for me, given I do not own a fat bike 😁)

This was from 7 years ago, almost to the day.
The goal scorer? My son — who is now a coach in the organization he grew up playing in. 🥲
Did someone hire Wile E. Coyote as a consultant and started sourcing equipment from Acme?

@almanaceditor That works! Probably even more fitting, as I am a RPI alum (that's why I took the picture), and the ride was with my son who is a hockey coach (not at RPI though)
@Zygos@mastodon.social I hope the third line of the chorus ends up being incorrect

@Zygos And a weird side note…
Matt's last rest day was December 20, 2024.
My last rest day was December 18, 2023.
But I only rode every day in 2024. Since the start of 2025, some days are either only resistance training or the rower (like this morning 😁)
I am sure you are familiar with The Monty Hall Problem.
But are you also familiar with The Girl Named Florida Problem?
No? Well, this great post has you covered…

Or the name of the church of my youth. CCD class after school once per week. Part of my history, I guess.

@zornslemmon Heh — nope! Only the one street sign mainly facing the camera is of interest to me.
