It really frustrates me that people are so accustomed to microtransactions in their games that they actively suggest them instead of fighting them with every fiber of their being.

My new #DnD campaign plans include four classic modules. One is from B/X and the rest are 1st ed. AD&D. I may need to add one or two adventures along the way, but these will be the the ones that support the story arc. Can you figure out which modules?

In all honesty, I could not buy another video game or TTRPG book for the rest of my life and I'd never go through what I own currently.

We are playing Dungeon Crawl Classics this weekend. We should be able to get through the funnel and see if there are any 1st level characters when we're done. 😆

My son got hit in the head by a pitch during his last game from one of the hardest throwing pitchers in his age group. It was scary, but the helmet did its job. After being checked out, he went to 1st base.
Stole 2nd on next pitch, went to third on the bad throw and two pitches later stole home on a passed ball, sliding under the tag.
Due to a cancelation this weekend, my regular Temple / Slavelords group won't be playing.
However, we are currently planning on making characters and playtesting my Evermore Adventures rules! So, I'm still excited.
There are days I miss managing a video game store. I can still see the walls covered in NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis games... soon to be followed by Playstation games... and 3DO.... Atari Jaguar... Game Boy, Game Gear, and for a limited time, NeoGeo. Even PC games! Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Sega Saturn, XBox (with its MASSIVE cobtrollers), and then Game Cube...
That's about when I left the business... 2005.
It had it's issues, but it was a great time over all.

@Hyperlynx@aus.social I didn't say Discord. Though, it's the big one right now. It's everything, everywhere. If people don't support the platforms that use it, they'll lose money. It's the only language they understand.
Will my holding out make a difference? No, not likely. But, I'll be able to sleep at night.
Imagine the possibilities: Connecting you to your social media through Discord and then using your identity to track you through Flock cameras if they don't like you...
