CatBoo, with a reminder that in all the uncertainty and chaos that 2026 is bringing for so many of us, it's important to just take a moment to sit and breathe.

We're a motley crew, with various disabilities, interests, hobbies, genders, sexualities etc. We're leftists. There will be memes, toots about disability, LGBTQIA, trans stuff, plural life, as well as other stuff. Follows appreciated! #IntroductionsPost

Official diagnosis isn't available to everyone for a whole variety of reasons(financial, ability/disability, transport issues, availability of specialists, the option for diagnosis isn't available in their country/country doesn't recognise the condition, it's not safe to be officially diagnosed etc etc), but that doesn't mean accommodations aren't still needed.
Quoting
Bottom line: we should stop asking for a diagnosis to give people accommodations!
If someone tells you they need to use a noise cancelling headset to focus, let them. If someone tells you they need some quiet time in the middle of the day, let them.
