March 7, 2026 @ 16:08 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Today is a very special day for me and I have been celebrating it ever since I got up this morning. You will notice that all of my morning updates are of a spiritual nature, and most refer to heaven. That's where I'm going when my time comes! And I have that assurance because 50 years ago today I said NO! to the world and YES! to Jesus. Today is my spiritual birthday, the day that changed my life forever - from that day through all of eternity. When I made that choice to follow Jesus I was instantly and dramatically changed, going from someone whose life went from one (usually profane and nasty) pleasure to the next, most of them having bad consequences...and going to Someone whose Spirit entered into my soul and gave me innocence, purity, and love. It was just like being struck by a bolt of lightning, so powerful and sudden that moment! All of my nasty vocabulary left my mind - I didn't even understand dirty jokes anymore! When I looked at the people around me, it wasn't with a derisive, critical and even mean eye - it was with a sense of lovingkindness and gentleness as the Lord used me. Whereas previously mentions of the Lord made me angry, now I craved His fellowship and His Word. Where I had had fear, it was gone and replaced with joy and peace and trust in my Father. And on and on it went. And goes! I have had times in my life where I started to stray off of His path for my life but He brought me back, repentant and thankful. The negativity that had surrounded and filled me for 19 years was instantly gone 50 years ago today as He changed me from the inside out, filling me with His presence and love. So I will continue to celebrate this day today - and forever. Heaven is my home and that heavenward mindset mentioned above will be part of me until I get there❣️🙌✝️🎶😆🥩🌿💐👴👵🐕‍🦺🦜

March 24, 2026 @ 19:50 Good evening family & friends❣️ Golly, it has taken me all day to get my updates done and content added! That's the kind of day it has been though 🤕😵😣😴 and I am thankful it got done at all in the end. Not whining, just sayin': things have been a bit of a struggle lately, so just doing what I can do, which most days isn't much 🤷‍♀️. Other than Zoey coming and doing her work I only made my supper today (and the usual stuff around here) but I will be going to bed shortly, and hoping for a good solid night's sleep. I hope you're having a good day so far, and I will see you tomorrow - good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

March 6, 2026 @ 13:03 Good afternoon family & friends❣️Another gray day but supposed to be in the 50s. Also expecting rain and even storms today and tomorrow. I don't plan to go anywhere. Excited that the bus continues to start, so I will be able to start driving it. Today will be just a regular day doing the usual stuff around the house and with the PoiBoiz and whatever else comes up. I would like to play my keyboard a bit, and try out my new equipment, now that Leelan got it all connected and set up. Pete is out running a couple of errands but should be back shortly. It does seem to be working out better for me to do all of my updates and content additions to this site earlier in the day, since evenings are typically more difficult and I just want to go to bed early, so that's probably what I will continue to do most days. Unless I have other things to share in the evenings of course. Anyway, happy Friday, and I will see you tomorrow if not before❣️🙌✝️🎶😆🥩🌿💐👴👵🐕‍🦺🦜

Anyway, good evening family & friends❣️ I had thought that, having lain down at 5:30, I would wake up in plenty of time to do a Friday Funnies but, obviously, that didn't happen. And so now here I am, up to say good night before I go back to bed. To sleep some more. 🙄 Mainly did the morning blog things today, checked my email accounts, checked in with theres.life (really the only social/chat platform I use now), and enjoyed the company of the grands until they left and I went to sleep. So I guess I will see you tomorrow, sleep well, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Hoping after a good night's sleep tonight life will be - well, not like the last 24 hours - again when I get up tomorrow. I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I am alive and will see you tomorrow, God willing. I have no plans - which was the same as yesterday that ended up turning into having plans and that's where things started getting difficult BUT that was yesterday and tomorrow is tomorrow so I will see you then...sleep well, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Leelan just texted that the parking lot at his school, which had become a large pond after all the rain over the weekend, is now frozen solid. (Were I his age I'd be getting my ice skates - we had ice skates as kids - and going back for the rest of the afternoon!) Pete is at an appointment but should be back soon. Trouble In Paradise Again!
After yesterday's apparent success, this morning I was unable to work on my main site page again. Finally late in the afternoon, after trying everything I could find online, I turned to my (wonderful!) host's tech support. They got me up and running again but it is very temporary; this page needs an overhaul. And I will be working on this page every chance I can this week, or until I get done what I need to do.

Good afternoon...apparently I can't do anything on my site today, I'm getting ominous messages like "There has been a critical error on this website" and "503 Service Unavailable"...it's all way above my head at the moment - as are most things 😒 - so until I can find a web developer (I think that's what I need?)
