@fontra@typo.social has a feature that is impressive. I can edit the anchors and instantly see how mark features would work in a compiled font. Editing the features and seeing the feedback from Harfbuzz is a game changer.

@justvanrossum I chose the sensible option to me which is design process names. But the convention is the opposite nowadays. I myself would call the glyph names in the binary as “final names” if there was no existing convention.

@justvanrossum typically writing OT features is a part of production. For me that involves design decisions which could also affect shape of glyphs.
