The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 49:
No sign of our captured comrades, but we stumbled across the evil druid ruler of the baboon-infested dungeon level separated from the bulk of his guards.
After some debate we decided to take advantage of the opportunity and ambush him. We set up exploding glyphs just outside the door he was in and lured him into the hallway. Blew him the hell up instantly!
Now we have to contend with a bunch of zombie baboons.
Brindlewood Bay Session 3:
We solved another mystery, this time involving a murder at a charity poker tournament.
Still not digging the game. I came up with a plausible solution to the mystery, but failed the Theorize roll so I was wrong. I’m not good at roleplaying an old woman. I’m not a cozy kind of person. I’m not a good fit for the game but I’m just trying not to interfere with the other players’ enjoyment.
It’s been so long since WotC reps have said something about the future of D&D and my reaction has been “Exciting!” or “That’s a smart move!”
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 45:
We spent an uneasy night camped in the besieged Goblin Kingdom, but despite the king’s efforts to draft us into the royalist side of the goblin civil war the situation seems relatively stable.
We slunk off to fulfill the time-sensitive quest of finding the silver ankh key for Kerbog Khan.
Following sounds of torture we burst in on a troop of baboons led by a cruel bearded man rumors have spoken of. Probably not good for us.

The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 36:
We continue to accompany a dozen goblins in search of a treasure they’ve heard lies in the Fungal Kingdom.
Fed up with the Setites obstructing our path, we battle through their checkpoint. Worried about the tales these dead men may tell (through Speak With Dead), we take their heads, planning to feed them to carnivorous plants. Dirty work, but we’ve got appearances to maintain.
Next session of my Mörk Borg campaign is going to be exciting. The most recent scenario concluded with party killing off the Archpriestess of the Church of the Two-Headed Basilisk. Now they want to try to lead a full-scale rebellion against the church and maybe attempt to kill one of the basilisks.
They’re not likely to get out of this alive, and since 5 of 7 prophesied Miseries have already come to pass it’s entirely likely they trigger the end of the world along the way…
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 39:
Last couple sessions were devoted to a goblin treasure hunt, this session was devoted to carting a heavy golden sarcophagus back to town so we could benefit from our own scavenged treasure.
Fighting past albino baboons and giant chameleons, we left Arden Vul and returned to town. Made a tidy profit and ingratiated ourselves with the town’s ruler, who wants us to find treasures to advance her political standing vs her brother.
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 38:
The goblin escort quest continues!
After facing stirges, skeletons, and skeletal stirges, we managed to find a unique flute (a symbol of office) that the goblin revolutionaries can use to challenge the current goblin king’s authority.
Now we’ve got to decide how involved we want to get in goblin politics AND also how to extricate some valuable but unwieldy treasure (a gold sarcophagus and an amphora filled with solid gold).
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 37:
Goblins in tow, we launched an offensive on the fungal mummy and carnivorous plants that were responsible for a near TPK several sessions ago.
Recovered some good loot, but the goblins dragged us away to continue THEIR quest, to a recover a staff that’ll give them the authority to overthrow the current goblin king.
We think the staff is in a cave accessible via a ceiling shaft and swarming with stirges…
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 40:
A brawl with a Fungal Mummy has left my dude with a nasty infliction: mushrooms growing beneath my skin. The clerics of Glosterwick can’t help, and the capital is a month’s journey away.
With the sickness fast progressing, we head back into the dungeon. Eccentric mage Kerbal Khan’s automatons may be able to fix me, but in addition to invasive treatments we’re expected to handle a new side quest…
The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 35:
We put the Forum of Set behind us, leaving with a platoon of goblins headed to the Fungal Forest to look for some treasure they’re in search of.
Along the way we chart a new path to familiar territory, but find room after room of blatant puzzle devices. We mark them on our map for future investigation.
6th Dungeon of the Mad Mage session of 2026.
We continue to explore the (optional DM’s Guild) treasure vault, which appears to be packed with various types of undead.
My 10th level character nearly died in an encounter with 14(!) wights. Whatever treasure awaits us had better be worth it, or we’ll probably just skip future vaults. The encounters have been significantly harder.
5th Dungeon of the Mad Mage session of 2026.
We entered the 8th level of the dungeon, finding it mostly full of marshy ground and bullywugs that are unfriendly but so far not picking fights.
We found a treasure vault dungeon (optional DM’s Guild expansion). My character (temporarily) died in the last one we found, and we nearly lost our 10th level fighter to a Mummy Lord in this vault: one failed Constitution save and she would’ve crumbled to dust from Mummy Rot.
