@finche ist es wirklich tech arroganz wenn die alternativen die eine Person nutzt aufgezählt werden? Ich denke nicht, dass es unbedingt arrogant ist sondern eher eine resource wonach eine Person gucken kann. Und die Frage ist ja wirklich wie abhängig ein Mensch, von den big tech systemen ist und wie weit sie vertraut ist mit alternativen. Mir sind viele, der obigen alternativen, bisher nicht geläufig gewesen u.a. weil mir auch einfach das Wissen/die Energie fehlt mich komplett damit auseinandersetzen. Von daher empfinde ich den obigen Toot als hilfreiche resource und eher motivierend da mal endlich was zu machen. Unabhängig von unseren unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, wünsche ich dir einfach einen schönen Sonntag. 🙂

@art_of_goulwenr@mastodon.art I sadly only know Valerian from the Luc Besson Movie which is entertaining but not on the same level as the fifth element or the Taxi Movies. I read about that Star Wars seems to, at least, be heavily influenced by the books of a French comic artist, but I didn't knew, it was the Valerian publication. It's a series I'm looking for for quite some time, now I finally have a name and another reason to look, if I can find a print somewhere around here.

@UnconventionalEmma @annaecook even if it is a historical Fiction that is pretty much rooted in reality the word fiction makes it a fantasy and it stays a fantasy until somebody invented a freaking time machine and life's as the character in question. If she wants to avoid fiction and this escapism she needs to read history books (not historical accurate fiction), the Telefon Book if she even finds a way to obtain one in 2026, science books or diaries. Every thing that isn't -a fiction- just as a contra point if she gets too packed up in the historical "accuracy" of historical FICTION.

@art_of_goulwenr I have for a time, good intentions on some parts but people get way to worked up and lost in the fiction. Also don't know about other languages but the wording in German is poor... Every second word seems to be aber (like but - not sure they meant a Komma). Definitely fandom gone wrong.

@finche ich folge auch dem Kuketzblog und ja es ist ein anderer Stil. Aber nicht alle Menschen reagieren gleich, da sind wir beide ja gerade ein gutes Beispiel für, auf die gleichen Reize. Ich kann nicht für das gesamte Zielpublikum sprechen nur für meine Person und denke dass die Intention hier nicht war 'gefeiert' zu werden sondern Persönliche Motivation zu erzeugen. Dies ist eine Methode die mir aus meiner Zeit im Handel & Service noch sehr geläufig ist, es wirkt auf einen Großteil der Menschen intensiver, wenn sie einen echten Nutzen fühlen und nicht nur sehen. Der nutzen hier ist ein erfolgreich laufendes system, erprobt in der Praxis durch die Langzeitnutzerin dieser Systeme, und wenn ich jetzt einfach davon ausgehe dass es eine ehrliche Aussage ist, da ich, außer meiner generellen Vorsicht bei Online Postings, keinen Grund habe etwas anderes zu vermuten, finde ich es hilfreich. Ich habe aus, unserer Konversation zumindest gesehen, dass wir beide eine unterschiedliche Wahrnehmung der Situation haben. Etwas was ich im Alltag öfter leider vergesse. Somit einmal vielen Dank für diese Erinnerung. 🙂 Ich möchte auch nicht deine Wahrnehmung invalidieren, denn aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass oft der Anschein auch von der eigenen, derzeitigen Perspektive abhängig ist. Wie gesagt ich finde die Frage tatsächlich gerechtfertigt, ich bin zum Beispiel nicht im geringsten so unabhängig und finde doch noch Punkte an denen ich einiges verbessern kann z.B. die Nutzung einer Google Kalender Alternative während das Fairphone einfach meine Kapazitäten sprengt. Ich habe leider sehr wenig Zeit gerade im Moment, daher sehe es mir bitte nach, wenn die nächste Antwort daher etwas auf sich warten lässt. @art_of_goulwenr@mastodon.art the movie was visually appealing and I like the story, it made clear, that there is a lot more worldbuilding going on and it was a nice entertainment, but Fifth Element and Taxi (as other Luc Besson movies) just had... More weight to it. That I, as a viewer, felt trusted to get the story and be taken serious as a person, I would describe it. Valerian isn't bad at all but somehow shallow in contrast to the other movies I known and like from Luc Besson. Still absolutely worth a watch and entertaining. I will grab them at the first opportunity I have. 🙂

@SJHoodlet@writing.exchange im glad you didn't perceived it as rude.🙂 German is a beast of a language to stem, with it inconsistent stuff, 3 article genders but no in-between for gender fluidity of non binary and I don't know how many words exactly. If i'm honest I probably wouldn't speak it if I'm not born here and raised.😅 And about the mistakes no worry they belong to learning as they belong to being human. I struggle with other languages as English do to availability of cheap or free learning materials and children books are often quite available second hand. So it was a great idea to ask for something like that. Daumen gedrückt for your future German language studies. :) And if you have questions just ask, most of us germans only bite for demonstrational purposes on how to bite correctly.😬 😊

We have very small children books called Pixi Bücher, ~ fist size (10×10 cm) not a finger thick booklets of different characters. Thought to be read to kids & getting them started to read on their own. One is named Conny and made a sort of meme Revival in the last years. https://www.carlsen.de/kinderbuch/pixi They are made by Carlsen, for which I could find the English Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlsen_Verlag There are also some publications they have listed sadly they are also running Harry Potter so if you don't want to support that, do to JK Rowling using her money to ban transgender* people from the society. I can understand that, however there should be a good second hand market for the Pixi books & similar brands exist. Also I recommend watching German translated Movies, Series or original German Content etc. Germany has a long dubbing history so youer chance to find your favorite series fully translated is high.🙂

Your last line, danke is the correct form for thanks for many thanks it cuts the e at the end and becomes a noun "Vielen Dank." As a child we learned the rule if you can see or touch it it is written with an upper case ... Not a perfect Donkey bridge (Eselsbrūcke) but it helps for daily objects including the sun, ghosts, glass, fog etc. My personal advice for cases. Ask yourself what is it? If you can answer the what is it with a sense making answer. What is it? The Thank(fullness) - der Dank, which refers to the Name of the feeling or the act of being thankful, you probably 98% right of using the upper case. Similar if you can ask how is it - wie ist es. Your are dealing with an adjective (lower case letter) they are also called Wieworte - how(to)-words. If you doing stuff it's also almost always a lower case letter. They are called Tuworte. Hope it helps a bit in the future.🙂

@BMDS wenn das mal funktioniert demnächst dann wahrscheinlich nur noch Digital ausgefüllte Anträge weil die KI schlecht ist um Handschriftliche Dinge zu lesen? Und wie wird der Daten Abfluss verhindert? Wie wird die Sicherheit vor unsicheren Drittstaaten wie den USA, Russland, China gewährleistet? Was ist, wenn ich meine Handschrift nicht für KI Training bereitstellen will? Wir jede Dienststelle ihre eigene KI Recheneinheit lokal Betreiben oder geht es ins Internet und dann an den Hauptrechner der wohlmöglich noch von Peter Thiel gesponsert ist? Und Entscheidungsvorschläge? Sehe ich mehr als Kritisch. So wie KIs lernen sehen wir dann besonders Menschen mit Migrations Hintergrund abgewiesen weil irgendein dämlich rassistischer Bockmist in den Daten gelandet ist? KI list nur Probleme die man ohne sie gar nicht hatte.

Maybe he only was good with a certain team or a member of his household helped him with something that freed up his creative veign. Or he might just be tired with the whole premise of making movies. Who knows...
