Oh wow, my https://cryptpad.fr account is over 10 years old!
I was one of the first users, and iirc the first paying one, I know the founders.
So glad to see it's still thriving after all these years 😁

🏅 XWiki ranked No. 2 in both CMS and task management on EU Score.tech , with an “Excellent impact” rating.
We are proud of the recognition, but the bigger point is the shift behind it.
More organizations are asking: Who controls our data? Which laws apply? Can we adapt the platform? What happens if a vendor changes terms?
Open source gives more room to act and stay in control.

🇫🇷 Bonne fête nationale.
This year, French digital sovereignty feels much more concrete.
In June, the European Commission published its European Tech Sovereignty Package, including a new EU Open Source Strategy. XWiki and CryptPad were mentioned as examples of European alternatives to Big Tech.
Open source is not a magic answer. But it gives organizations more room to act, adapt, self-host, and keep control.
