Ah, at #LaybyCoffee this morning a bloke started spouting off about grooming gangs. I muttered "too much time on Facebook" which prompted him to bring up Rupert Lowe as a source. I shut the 'conversation' down in what he regarded as an aggressive way. All life is there of course.
Bonus #LaybyCoffee. Again, #potholes was the top topic of conversation. Not the cost of living. Not immigration. Fix the potholes and you win the election.

Today at #LaybyCoffee a young Muslim woman was telling us about her impending trip to Mecca. The Reformy blokes genuinely wanted to know all about Ramadan and fasting. Was good to see.

@aroundthehills@mastodonapp.uk Friday morning #LaybyCoffee has been a thing since 2020. It started because that's where Sue the baker delivered to. It's a bit more relaxed for me now I'm on four days a week. And despite the location, we walk there via the woods.
