#lanparty

Next weekend (24.-27.) this year's installment of the fully-local LAN party Internyet happens in Uppsala, Sweden. Check it out if you want to take back LAN parties from the commercial esports profit-maxing of authoritarian regimes, while having fun https://internyet.party/invite/ RE:https://social.spejset.org/@samuel/115504408300775971 #sweden #uppsala #lanparty #sverige #anticapitalism

I feel grateful to have been a teenager in the hey-day of the micro-ITX Shuttle days. This vintage PC lan party made me feel both old and young again at the same time. #vintagegaming #gaming #lanparty #vintagecomputing #retrogaming #retrocomputing #vidyagames

Assembly Summer 2026 on ohi ja olihan siellä kivaa taas kerran! Ennen Assyja sain idean rakennella vanhat TV:n näköisen retrokonsolin jossa on hyödynnetty vanhaa LCD-näyttö, Raspberry PI ja pienet kaiuttimet tuomaan ääntä. :) Kiitos vaan @villemakipelto@mementomori.social @toninummela@mementomori.social @jalmarisiili@mementomori.social @pmikkonen@mastodon.social ja kaikki muut ketkä teitte Assyista Assyt! #AssemblySummer2026 #kesäassyt #lanparty #democompo

I have an unfinished #cyberpunk style case build... I have an "old" OPPO android... I was thinking of using the screen as a monitoring panel, but all of the mobile dashboard arrays look like absolute dog vomit...with just a couple of prompts, I got a synthetic panel with the pixel accurate density as a html/javascript file Then you can feed data from #prometheus and have superb parameter display, as well as easily implement audio/video player, control switching and anything really... Shame I do not go to #lanparty anymore (are they still a thing?), I would be the god emperor of the great unwashed (literally) masses. #pcmasterrace #casemods #monitoring #vibecoding
