Presumably #Burnham knows that by picking Mahmood for Chancellor he’s kissed goodbye to getting back traditional #Labour voters who have recently turned #Green before he’s even got the keys to Number 10? #Mahmood is #LabourTogether , she is against democratic protest , there is no evidence she gets the scale of the climate crisis or realises that inequality is tearing this country apart. This does not bode well for anyone.

The UK's so-called "#LabourParty" has tweeted a long series of attacks on Green Party #GPEW candidates in #London, as part of its #antisemitism scare. https://x.com/LondonLabour/status/2051936716257189938 This has clearly been a long time in preparation, and it looks very similar to what #LabourTogether did to sabotage #Corbyn leadership. Some of the comments are a bit OTT, but some are commendable — like Laura-Louise Fairley in #HackneyDowns, who cheered #BobVylan and wants the #IDF banned as a terrorist organisation. 👍👏
