Since I have a lot of local followers, Clermont County, Ohio (Batavia suburb east of #Cincinnati #Ohio ) has like 20 lots of printers/copiers going off GOVDeals auction in less that 5 hours (some 6 hours) of this post! Lots range from 4 to 10 units each lot and bids are like $10 to $50 right now. I guess they upgraded their hardware. Perfect for business, upgrade your home printing/copying, make flyers, esp if you protest, etc The computer I run my Mastodon server on came from GovDeal auction via Clermont County for barely nothing for a large lot of the same computers... Bid right now on this set is only $10 One (1) - Sharp MX-6070 color multifunction copier/printer s/n 6511380X One (1) - Sharp MX-5071 color multifunction copier/printer s/n 95120984 One (1) - Sharp MX-M654 multifunction copier/printer s/n 45005249 One (1) - Lanier MP2554SP multifunction copier/printer s/n G145R901495 https://www.govdeals.com/en/asset/2676/2310 All of Clermont County's GovDeal auctions: https://www.govdeals.com/en/clermontcountyoh I have no relationship with govdeals or Clermont county. As a matter of fact, it is like 45 miles away from me. This is not an advertisement.

#Cincinnati #Ohio #altafiber internet, cable and phone has been down since Saturday overnight / Sunday in the Kings Island/Loveland, Ohio area. Reports are it is widespread throughout southwestern Ohio. This is a recurring issue. #PaulsAuntBetty has altafiber. I just bought her a home base 4g VoLTE cellular home base with unlimited calling in US for $15 per month. She is 85 years old and wants her cordless phone and not a cell phone. Now, she gets the best of both worlds. Plus, when she comes to visit us overnight, we can just bring her little home base and plug a phone in. I already got her a 4G LTE "cell phone" that only has one button, a big red 911 button, that is a speaker phone and only calls 911. No monthly service fee.

2/ #PaulsAuntBetty phone, cable and internet still out. Been down since Sunday morning. In a metro area. I have her a 4g VoLTE cellular home base that you plug a home phone in setup and working. $15 per month, unlimited. This won't happen again. The home base will pay for itself in one billing. It was like $49.99+tax Works like a charm! #Cincinnati #Ohio #altafiber .

5/ After Mt. Orab, #Ohio, an eastern rural #Cincinnati suburb and gateway into #AppalachianOhio, city council scrapped modern zoning regulations in early 2026 so a large data center could be built without public knowledge, input or oversight, residents fought back. At the end of Wednesday's meeting, the final public speaker turned to the crowd and asked who was against construction of a data center in Mt. Orab. Every hand in the crowd went up 🔗 Mt. Across the US ICE has lured people into their field offices for bullcrap appointments to abduct them. In response, people protest or stand outside the building as legal observers, both of which have done a lot to stop kidnappings. It's forced ICE to change their tactics. Obviously, the immigrants at these appointments are not only not criminals, but they are doing all they can to comply with the process. "Worst of the worst," baby! #Cincinnati #Ohio #FuckICE #ICE #Haiti

My hectic day is over. Logged around 350 miles of travels today between getting pre-surgery lab work done for Monday's surgery, taking care of my 85-year old aunt and doing some estate work on my brother's estate. As a treat, I did gargle some famous #Cincinnati Skyline chili. lol. (Can't eat it because of the feeding tube and dysphagia) Sometimes being rural is heck but it is worth it. Rolled out of the house at 7am and back into the house at 7pm. Spending this weekend making sure I have a weeks worth of hashtaggames done and scheduled, setting up my bedside self-hosting tools and devices so I have something to do while I recover, and a few odds and ends.

Longtime #Cincinnati noon news anchor/medical reporter Liz Bonis loses life to colon cancer #Ohio She was at her news desk even in her last days "Even after her April 2023 diagnosis and five surgeries, Liz was determined, not to be the story, but to get the story. Even at the end of her life, she told no one about her fight. Instead, she reported vigorously on new medical technology and cancer treatments even as her options dwindled." "Liz participated in six clinical trials for experimental oncology drugs during her last four years. Through these, she courageously fought what ultimately became a fatal war with colon #cancer." #ColonCancer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x9QjXT9o_w
