I've had this ancient cassette in a draw for like over 30 years and the tape broke (an old C120 so yeah daft thin tape) but i think there's something on there i'd like to hear. I do have a tape splicer but no splicing tape. I only need a little bit and splicing tape is a rarity thee days but one day i'll have to buy some just to see what rubbish is on the tape. #cassettes

Acquired 320+ previously-used-but-very-clean Type II cassette tapes this afternoon; a mixture of 60- and 90-minute lengths, including many grey-shelled Maxell XL IIs. That's a little over 50 lbs (22.5 kg) of tapes! They're being run through the 4-bay tape winder now to pack them completely before individually swiping them across the industrial bulk eraser. For those of you who buy/sell/trade #vinyl and/or #cassettes what sites do you like to use? Or do you rely more on local shops? Time to thin the herds so I can make room for other albums. But it seems like such a time suck to sell one at a time or even small lots online. #music #tapes
