Not scoring while we had the initiative in the first half let them off the hook, allowing them to take advantage of their greater talent & experience in the second - earning what ended up being a dominant & deserved win IMO. We've come a long way, but we just aren't quite there yet. Let's hope this acheivment permanently increases the national interest in the men's and women's programs. Sad, but proud. 🇨🇦 #WorldCup #FediFC #CANMNT

Nice shout out to #CanWNT by the commentators just now for lifting this game to new heights in Canada. IMO, it was the women's team that showed us that Canada could be a soccer nation. The #CanMNT are following in their footsteps.

@atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org Sadly, as #HamOnt is between #Toronto and #Buffalo we get bombarded with Sabres, Bills, Bandits and all the Toronto stuff. CFL makes some in roads but CPL is so far down the list. TBF Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the MVP in the NBA is from Hamilton and they have given him the key to the city. He invest big $ in the town. We are an hour down the road from Brampton, home of half of the homegrown #CanMNT. Let's go find out what's in the water.

@atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org *sigh* I haven't seen anyone talk about the impact on the #CanMNT. Good 🇨🇦 players go through Whitecaps, but won't get the same look south of the border. Whitecaps II is a good feeder. Also, Marsh's salary is topped up by CF Mtl, TFC and Whitecaps. That's going to change. Aaargh

Jesse Marsh has to have a serious look at #CyleLarin for the #CanMNT for the #WorldCup2026 His composure in the box and a deft touch showed why he has been one of #Canada's best strikers over the years. Unfortunately #Southampton drew with a late goal from #Ipswich in the #EFLChampionship#Saints are in the playoffs and could be the 3rd team promoted. #Wrexham, #Hull, #Middlesborough and #Millwall are also in the mix. All to play for in the final game of the regular season Cyle had a stunning debut against #Watford. On the field for 20 seconds, heads the winner. #Fedifchttps://youtube.com/shorts/GV64lnsEYIk

Still 3-1 for LAFC on aggregate. #LAFC playing smart, controlled footy. They will advance as it stands. Good to see #Choiniere in the starting XI, Shaffelburg now on the field for 20 minutes. #CanMNT#concacafchampionscup #FEDIFC
