Night patrol at the river's edge. 🌙🐾
Spotted hyenas are highly intelligent, highly adaptable apex predators and scavengers that do most of their active hunting and patrolling under the cover of night. Catching this individual pausing along the illuminated waterbank gives a fantastic look at their distinct sloping silhouette and keen attentiveness.
