I had the best time at @incolico@assemblag.es , there are so many good eggs in the live coding scene, and incredible effort for @toplap_bcn@social.toplap.org to volunteer to throw their lives into it ! Incredibly good music + art + fun

Hello! You have reached my livecodey account. To follow my general account, please see @yaxu@post.lurk.org
A quick first go at a website around the emerging idea of the 'uzulang' family of live coding languages:
https://uzu.lurk.org/
Lots more to add, feel free to contribute if you have some ideas.
As ever, also still on the lookout for the perfect live coding photo for websites like this, featuring performer(s), code projection + audience, all having a good time ! #tidalcycles #uzulang #strudel #livecoding
It's time to learn how to beat match again. No more Ableton Link!

If you did fancy jumping into strudel there's a 'good first issue' tag:
https://github.com/tidalcycles/strudel/labels/good%20first%20issue
There might be other suitable issues
The way patterns work in strudel is a bit outside of the usual javascript-style programming paradigms though.
@froos@post.lurk.org wrote some nice posts about writing a strudel-like system from scratch, which might actually be the best way to get a feel for how strudel works under the hood, in terms of functions of time etc. https://garten.salat.dev/idlecycles/chapter1.html
I think it's not necessary to understand all this before starting to contribute to strudel though! I'm still getting my head around it despite making the original tidal flavour in the first place..
Questions always very welcome !
Another strong @strudel@social.toplap.org release, v1.1.0 ! https://github.com/tidalcycles/strudel/releases/tag/v1.1.0
