I'm back a day early from camping. Apparently starting tonight there's supposed to be over an inch of rain fall and possibly 2 inch hail. So we bailed... I'm sunburnt and I have stories about Raccoons to share.
Folks... I have big news... I'm going camping in little over a week. I haven't been camping in at least six years. I'm taking my chaos hound which means I gotta bring my broken kennel but it's gonna work and it's gonna be fun and hopefully neither of us overheat because we're both wimps when it comes to anything resembling mildly warm temperatures.
Folks, you remember my parents neighbour hacked branches off our mulberry tree? Well, the other mulberry trees that i thought couldn't fruit, have fruited in retaliation. The backyard looks like a mini garden of eden. Theres like three mulberry trees fruiting, apples, acorns that could knock you out, and pears everywhere. Not to mention mock strawberries, plantain, violets, chickweed, dead nettle, etc. It's awesome...
Should I do work or should I make funny medieval art? This is an important question in my life as of yesterday. Because I got Scriptorium so I could make cool stuff and spam my ko-fi with them. 😆
I'm pickling leftover peppers from the fridge so they don't go bad. 😅
I took the dogs out and saw some lightning in the distance. Came in and 15 minutes later giant chunks of ice are falling from the sky and threatening to bust out the windows. No weather alerts, nothing. We were just supposed to have very light rain which came with it. Large ones are 2-3 inches...
Fermentation question:
So, i watched several videos today on how to make fireweed tea etc. as well as how to adapt the process of making black tea to other plants. Now, i need to know two things;
Have any of you made alternatives teas with traditional methods? If so, what were they?
Would it be theoretically possible to do this with basil? Or has someone done this with basil? I feel like Thai basil would be a big candidate for tea making.
Apparently I forgot I have to write a seven page paper on Whitehead and it's due in a week. Queue ADHD fuelled writing storm.

Something I need to explore: What is your practice or set of practices? Which of these practices are maintenance practices for the self and interbeing? If there aren't any you know of, what ones can you create?
Day three hearing is still very sensitive. But so far, no beeps on certain tones. May be a slight recovery. Still have no idea what's going on but I have a suspicion I can't use earbuds anymore. Will find out, when I inevitably use earbuds again...
The power just flickered out and my computer came right back on to where I left it like nothing ever happened... The internet didn't even die? This never happens...
Where's a good place to host recordings that isn't youtube?

Anyone know where I can get a decent overview of network medicine? Like the terminology, basic structure etc.?
