#SmokeAndSmokingSongs theme for today's #TuneTuesday made me hum this song almost immediately.
I had completely forgotten the name of this #90s song & band's name and had to dig deep into the #2MeterSessies / #2MeterSessions backlog to finally find it.
Song name is "Not An Addict' and band's name is K's Choice. #KsChoice
🎵 Hmm-mm hmm-mm
Breathe it in and breathe it out
And pass it on, it's almost out
We're so creative, so much more
We're high above but on the floor

Great Britain should not rejoin the European Union as United Kingdom, but instead rejoin as the 4 separate nations; England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. That way England will be unable to drag Scotland & Northern Ireland out of the European Union again like a decade ago.
Therefore instead of Volt UK there should be Volt England, Volt Northern Ireland, Volt Scotland, and Volt Wales. 💡
After looking for various #CastlesInTheSky music videos for #TuneTuesday I ended up with 'Caisleáin Óir' (Castle of Gold) by Clannad, which happened because of the Robin Hood theme a couple of months ago that is still fresh in my memory. 🏰
However, in the YouTube comments I unfortunately learned the singer, songwriter, and harpist of #Clannad Moya Brennan had passed away on the 13th of April this year, which must have been a sad day indeed for #Ireland 🇮🇪 .
Late RIP. 😥
The #TuneTuesday #WriteMeALetter theme made me immediately think of 'Message in a Bottle' by #ThePolice, but it has already been posted twice. So I tried to think of a track more recent about messages & postal workers and I could not think of any that was neither of the #BabyBoomer nor the #GenX generation. 😱
Is writing letters going to die out in the 21st century ⁉️ 🤨
The closest #Millennial or #GenZ song to this topic I could come up with is "Signal' by #SOHN ...

At the moment the song 'Times Like These' by the #FooFighters is one of the #RentFreeTracks living currently in my brain 🧠, thank you #DaveGrohl .
I heard a remixed version of it on television a couple of weeks ago and it has been roaming in my mind ever since, so I guess I'll share it for this #TuneTuesday today.
Just saw Dave Grohl is the latest guest on the 'Playing Along' podcast of Norah Jones, which I still have to listen to. If #NorahJones requested this song...

Aye, there is a lot of black humor in these songs just like in the movie 'Trainspotting' for example.
Comedy can be a good coping mechanism when it comes to addiction I guess....
Amazing sound from an accordion! 😮

Nice round number, Voyager 1 is exactly 1412 light-minutes from our mother planet Earth. 🌍 ... 🛰️
Congratulations with the 💯 th orbit around our day-star, Sir #DavidAttenborough ❗ 🎉
I wish it wasn't such a downward spiral for the environment, but hopefully we are at the turning point with renewable energy on the rise. 🥳

It's #BandcampFriday ‼️ 🎉
This week I learned from the 'Norah Jones is Playing Along' podcast that the 4 Non Blondes lead singer songwriter Linda Perry has published a solo album this year. I will post that podcast episode here below by the way.
