For those who can't wait until Salticid Sunday, or even Salticid Saturday... Here's a photo of a female Attinella concolor looking pretty adorable. #SalticidFridayNight #JumpingSpider
Happy Salticid Sunday! This is a male Tutelina elegans. The males are most commonly seen in June, when they are out looking for mates.

@theogrin The New York Times says otherwise: "The licensing deal has been agreed to by The Onion and the court-appointed administrator. But it is not effective until Judge Guerra Gamble approves it, and Mr. Jones could appeal any ruling. That means the fate of Infowars remains in limbo until the court rules, probably sometime in the next two weeks. Mr. Jones continues to operate Infowars.com and host its weekday program, 'The Alex Jones Show.'"
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is now accepting public comments on designating the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. Please support this important step by leaving a comment at https://www.regulations.gov/commenton/FWS-R3-ES-2024-0137-0001. The industrial agriculture and argichemical lobbies will be fighting against this tooth and nail. Please boost!

@considermycat @gendercensus Yes they have! And I've been trying to get more people to use it for the past decade. Unfortunately it still hasn't become popular enough to make it into the gender survey.
