Trumpův prezidentský dekret, jímž byly sankce na Francescu Albanese uvaleny, zakázal jakékoli americké osobě nebo subjektu poskytovat jí „finanční prostředky, zboží nebo služby“... Nemůže nikde na světě používat kreditní kartu, protože téměř všechny takové transakce jsou zpracovávány prostřednictvím služeb se sídlem v USA.

@jtb@toot.wales I understand your point now. You think it’s crucial ministers/secretaries/commissioners be appointed from the pool of elected members of Parlament. I don't share this view and I don’t think democracy in the EU would be on a different level if commissioners had to be sitting MEPs. And BTW, British PMs can appoint unelected members of the House of Lords as members of the cabinet. David Cameron was in the House of Lords when he was appointed Foreign Secretary in 2023.

#AgeVerification has been getting a lot of flak for fear of personal information leaks or big-brother surveillance. Now, here is a lay person wondering if the open-source solution that the EU is developing, might dispel such concerns, assuming it will work as advertised at https://ageverification.dev/
