#9front is such a fascinating project.

I'll try to #speedrun #silksong , I've been practicing the first few minutes of the run and it is very challenging but should be fun.

@ariarhythmic@ohai.social @Foxboron@chaos.social May I ask what reasonable choice do they have? For example how should you deal with the Colorado and California age api laws? It would be very difficult to not distribute your OS to these states specifically without violating the GPL.

@neovim@hachyderm.io 0.11 already looks really cool. https://github.com/neovim/neovim/pull/31031

#silksong Cogwork Dancers was an awesome figt, probably my favourite so far

I just found that #av1 has a successor, AV2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AV2.

Is it just me or is YouTube turning on subtitles automatically for everyone?

I kinda feel like we don't need 50 years of backwards compatibility on evry piece of software and hardware ever.

What's My JND? 0.0037
Can you beat it? https://www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd/?r=AXMgKP__z630

I find it a bit suspicious that the CIE stated value for JND is 0.02 and everyone in that thread is getting < 0.01. I should read how was the 0.02 number derived.

I am doing some experiments with image manipulation in #go and I've run into an issue where saving the file would take about 6.6 seconds. It was a 4k 4:3 file but it still felt weird to me that it would take than long. Now I think the problem was that I added noise to the file and image/png had trouble compressing the file. I decided to give #QOI a shot and it saved in about 10 × faster and the file was 8 MB smaller.

@mkj@social.mkj.earth Probably

I am very excited for #Artemis2. I am expecting to probably get delayed one more time but hopefully not.

The new #valve hardware looks very good, I don't think the steam machine will sell wele just becouse I don't really se how ia it better than a PS5 for most people but I might get the controller if it's good.

I've been playing #kerbalspaceprogram recently and it's so much fun, now I am planning to land on duna, so I hope it goes well

IBM Plex is such a beautiful #font family.

Has anyone managed to get #apple Rhapsody running under #qemu? I spent quite a lot of time on in and I can't get it working.

My computer is so shit that amd fsr makes the game I am trying to play crash and intel xess makes it run worse

Sucks to hear that this guy is getting harassed for submitting PRs to comply with a law.

I finally took a look at #dlss5 and it's cool that they can apply these filters in real time but I don't get why would I want it on. I mean, if the studio wanted for the character to have brighiter hair or something they would make it have brighter hair

Configuring #vim is peak procrastination.

K politice se tu moc nevyjadřuju, ale na veřejnoprávních médiích mi dost záleží a tak to tady nasdílím.

Je to patice milionu chvilek proti zestátnění české televize a rozhlasu, budu rád pokud ji podepíšte.

I am writing a #go library to manipulate images
I've just discovered that saturation in HSV and HSL are different things that are just named the same for no apparent reason whatsoever. My day is ruined.
