@Iconfactory@iconfactory.world In #Tapestryapp on the Mac, is it possible to set which browser links open in? Asking because for work, I need to have Chrome set as the Mac's default browser, but for Tapestry, I would rather have links open in Safari.

Watching today's Shanghai #f1 qualifying session, I was surprised to see a very #finnish looking sponsor sticker "Vellamo" in a close-up of #oliverbearman's helmet from the pits. Turns out Vellamo is indeed a Finnish company, a luxury water brand that serves as the "Official Hydration Partner" of #HaasF1. In most cases, I would prefer to open links in an in-app browser also on Mac, instead of generating tabs in an external browser.
An in-app browser in Tapestry for Mac should include the same sharesheet and "open in default browser" functions available in Tapestry for the iOS and iPadOS.

@Iconfactory@iconfactory.world I find the in-app browser approach in Tapestry on iOS and iPadOS keeps me focused on the individual article, while I have the option to open the article in an external browser or whatever via sharesheet, when necessary.
On the Mac, being forced out of Tapestry every time I want to read a complete article leads invariably to distractions, and the distractions in turn lead to orphaned browser tabs, which I forget why I opened them in the first place. These tabs mostly end up deleted.

@overcastfm@mastodon.social Thanks & congrats on the transcripts feature! Based on very short testing, it works like a charm on English-language podcasts. And although I was 99,99% certain it wouldn't work, I just had to try a Finnish-language podcast also. Overcast downloaded a transcription model and worked on it locally, but as I expected, it didn't understand Finnish.
