Underground, Overground
I love finding locations where you can see Underground trains traveling over Overground trains (or vice versa).
This vantage point near East Putney station has beautiful views of tube trains traveling over the railway.
UNDER HOUSES
Composite photo looking down on the tracks near Bayswater London Underground station. I love the colourful houses!
Take me to Greenwich!
Fun photo featuring the green witch Elphaba Thropp from the film Wicked on a poster at Bank London Underground station.
Note: alt tag feature not working for me currently
Reflections
My puddle obsession continues with this shot taken at Moor Park London Underground station
Golden Tracks
I love capturing photography of the Croydon Tram network, it feels like discovering a new secret line on the London Underground tube map.
Here's a shot of the track reflecting the golden light as sunset approached at Sandilands Tram stop.
Step Into The Weekend
I love the secret feature at Nine Elms London Underground station that reveals itself during a sunny day.
If you arrive at the perfect moment, the roundel logo is beautifully projected onto the floor.
Featuring Dancer Andreya.
In The Spotlight - Baker Street
The dramatic lighting & architecture at Baker St station naturally encourages commuters to wait in the spotlight. I always think it looks like people are ready to perform on stage.
So I asked dancer Viola to pose under the lights, ready to dance.
Street Photography of London Trams
Some silly fun showcasing my love of capturing photography of the Croydon Tram network. It feels like discovering a new secret line on the London Underground tube map.
Ton of Bricks!
I love this visual pun on the wall tiles at Brixton London Underground station on the Victoria line.
Almost Symmetrical
Looking down at Earl's Court platforms, I realised there's a very unlikely moment of 3 trains lining up.
The chance of this happening is astronomical. Instead I was happy with this result, capturing the train moving at back aligned with the front carriage
Another version of this photo featuring one of the largest roundels on the London Underground network, which can be found outside Battersea Power Station Station.
Dancer Andreya matched the blue so we took a few photos.
Are there any giant roundels at other stations?
Waiting
After years of capturing people waiting for trains, I can say that my favourite common waiting pose is the 'crossed legs lean'.
How do you pose while you wait?
Photo taken at Norwood Junction London Overground Station.
Wet reflections at Surrey Quays London overground station.
Arch - Crystal Palace
Photos looking down the stairs at Crystal Palace London Overground Station. I love the long shadows stretching across the platform. Featuring Andreya
Curves
Looking down the platform at Piccadilly Circus London Underground station.
Approaching Woodside
I love the overlooked Croydon Tram network. Here's a shot of a Tram arriving at Woodside Tram Stop.
Umbrella Talk
I was out hunting for puddle reflections on a rainy night, but instead I came across this lovely composition of two ladies taking in the rain at Highbury & Islington London Overground Station.
Late night reflections outside Belsize Park London Underground station.
Mundane Moments
Taken at Bounds Green London Underground station.
Tile Appreciation
Emergency staircases are a good place to find original tiling in these old buildings. This pathway leads to a spiral staircase. Taken at Belsize Park London Underground station.
Favourite Stations - Kensal Green
Meet Sarah, a train operator on the Bakerloo line, and her favourite station is Kensal Green.
I've started a new branch of the Tube Mapper project exploring people's favourite stations or stops on the London Underground Tube Map. I meet people at their favourite stations, taking photos and interviewing them to find out what makes it so special.
My puddle hunting continues. This photo was taken at Gunnersbury London Underground station.
Light and Shadow
Looking back to when I managed to get some shots of one of the new Docklands Light Railway trains.
Here's a photo of the train arriving at Beckton Park DLR station. I'm looking forward to when these are back in service again.
Empty Carriage
I always enjoy the rare experience of looking down empty carriages when travelling on the London Underground network. Here's a photo taken as I arrived at Barking Riverside on the Suffragette line on the London Overground.
Going Up
I love the reflection of the lights on the escalator hand rail. Taken at London Bridge Underground station.
