You may notice some changes on your commute this morning.
FART (Federated Agencies of Regional Toronto), the new regional transit agency that replaced Metrolinx, has renamed all stations in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area after their exact coordinates.
This was done to make wayfinding easier on transit and to make sure station names could not be confusing or similar to others in the GTHA.

The Bloor-Danforth Subway (Line 2) is now 60 years old.
Opening for revenue service on February 26, 1966 (The official opening was held the day before) from Keele to Woodbine Stations.
