i really, truly, deeply LOVE #graffiti and it’s one of the things i miss the most about the old, 1970s subways that still remained when i returned to #nyc in 1986.
if there is one thing #MTA should do, is to commission graffiti #subway cars and buses.
graffiti is a legitimate #art form, the bastard child of frescos and murals in the mechanical age. it should be celebrated and preserved like all others.
