I'm seriously considering pulling my books from Amoebazon. Still, it's a difficult decision given that my sales on other platforms combined are a tiny fraction of those on A-zon. Which of course speaks to the bigger picture of the state of the (self-publishing) industry.

I'm still skeptical about whether souls are real.
Then I give them the benefit of the doubt.
I also question the existence of the Devil.
But suppose he/it is real?
This leads me to wonder if selling your soul to the devil can actually happen.
Of course, I doubt it.
Yet there’s Marco Rubio.
Doing a quick check here...uh huh...uh huh...yep, I'm still not in the Epstein Files.
If you're a member of the

Even though I live in Las Vegas, I beg of you -- don't come here! It's too friggin' expensive, and besides, unless you're rich as f*ck, you're no longer the desired visitor demo. Take yourselves and your limited discretionary spending someplace nicer and more affordable. You'll be glad you did.
Our beautiful Lola Dawg the Basset Hound crossed the Rainbow Bridge last Friday. I'm happy to know Molli and Sadie and Beulah and all our wonderful Katz were there to meet her.
Being a punk in Hawaiʻi is a hard-knock life. Just ask Shawn “Speedy” Lopes.

I should be putting more work into my WIP, then I reconsider when I realize the Dow is over 50,000 right now, the S&P at almost 7,000 and the Nasdaq is smashing records.

In years past I remember watching the Super Bowl with folks who were incomprehensibly hyped to see the commercials. What made this exercise especially amusing was knowing these people would be fast-forwarding through those same commercials within the week.
@mloxton@med-mastodon.com I'm pleased that my books are on Bookshop.

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

Why do we constantly have to opt out of this AI garbage? Why doesn't Big Tech instead give us an opt-in option? (Because they're dicks.)

@mloxton@med-mastodon.com I mean, "No Nazis" is an immediate selling point!
Casual product placement of Microsoft Copilot--as in, homicide cops using AI to chase down a lead--on last night's season finale of High Potential made me a bit nauseous.
