Sometimes we ought to be not serious.

RE: @ScottEdelman@wandering.shop
While I despise a lot of things JKR said over the years... that's a strong word title selection by a magazine that profits from more people clicking on it.
Monday is a big day for me.
I will get to know if I escaped the diabetes.
I've started asking explicitly "are you asking me" before answering any questions in a group because I have a tendency to answer even rethorical questions
and that made me look stupid.
Google Gemini's #BananaGate
1) Why is it using two distinct bananas on the same UI and so close to each other?
2) Why is neither of the bananas from Noto Emoji??
This is both crazy and not.
LinkedIn scans 6k+ chrome extensions to "make up a person" about you.
Everyone used to do this on iOS through intents (or whatever the custom protocol thingy name was)
Google used (or still does?) to do it based on all sites with AdWords
Where does one vent when there's _always_ at least 1 coworker reading your social media posts? block them?
Also I am tired of reporting GitHub spammers that connect their GH to some model and do slop commits, prs, issues, etc.
I have yet to see a "not-top-1%" software engineer, designer or animator achieve "top-1%" results with AI.
All top-1% AI results I've seen came from prompts from top-1% people.
AI has been clearly trained with people thinking similarly to me.
It tends to create shitty algorithms, just like mine!
WHY DO NEWSPAPERS SAY "xx EXPERTS" IF THEIR ROLE WAS NOT LEADERSHIP AND THEY WERE ONLY AT THE COMPANY FOR LESS THAN A YEAR.
I am a Master of the Universe then.
AI will not kill us, humans will. A gun doesn't kill you, a shooter does.
I need CSS-GL
a WebGL compatible CSS-only solution
.foo {
vertex-shader: url() or code;
fragment-shader: url() or code;
}
I mean *someone* dropped out of the Paris Agreement so...
I'd like to know the intersection of the people promoting 2-party consent / privacy (California legislation) and the people complaining about religious leaders crimes transparency.
I have hacked my own chrome extensions in the past to convert unusable sites into usable sites, probably going against some terms of services and that's what I want out of GenUI: something that makes every and all users happy.
Examples:
- Google shopping says price is $10 but upon going to the PDP it's either $20 or was $10 for a similar but different/lesser product not exact model I wanted
- Award redemption on hotel/airline points. There's a calendar, and there's space, but no way to "book me whatever dates, my points afford me to stay 5 days"
Whoever solves the [make this site usable / customizable] with AI wins the next browser era.
I asked AI about a provoking thought I wanted to send:
> Corporate Assessment: High Risk / Poor Optics.
> Corporate Assessment: Counter-Productive & Naive.
> In an Interview or Internal Slack Channel: Stupid / Red Flag
> In a Tech Think-Tank / Academic Panel: Debatable / Provocative
> On Public LinkedIn: Avoidable
Never have I ever been so burned by an HR person so much.
I like childish ideas because I am still a child.
Trauma freezes you in time.
