@daliborzz @xChaos @klokanek @Ralfeek @denikalarm.bsky.social no to mě fascinovalo. Celou dobu jsem v textu vyhlížel odkaz na nový mastodon účet Alarmu (konečně)... a ono nic. Kázat vodu a pít víno 😅

@vogelchr@chaos.social @TechConnectify@mas.to hallo from your neighborhood country (Tschechien), i hope that by "us" you mean whole Europe, that's what is getting weaker, because you have bot much to complain 😉. It started in Hungary and we have now ultra-populists party leading too in CZ - this time with two true fascist parties in coalition. Germany is far more stable and better! 💪🙏

@xChaos i see two levels in the question: 1) Why Fediverse among other social networks?
and
2) Why are you on social network?
If you mix them like this, my answer would be "because i like to do thinks right, and Fedi/Mastodon is the best option (except vast majority of users, LOL), because such public service should not be owned by a private company".
Of course i can see from the list of options that you mean general vague "why social" question, which in this case would be my answer "because i strongly need to extend myself into virtual cyberspace and i like sharing of good things in my life (slightly more than getting inspiration from others)".
@TechConnectify it's first time actually I hear about these. Must've been rare in Europe.
"because it doesn't even know what pixels are" made me LOL 🤣
Tomorrow is the #Bicycleday 🚴. I couldn't wait, so took some surreal joyride today 😅 https://ridewithgps.com/trips/377793558

@casandro @TechConnectify apparently depends in what "Europe" exactly, we call "wild 90s" in Tschechien, and we were also much poorer country 😉

I'm saying it over and over again: if only there were a political party led by #JonathanPie... I bet they'd win (here in CZ at least). There are so many frustrated people out there, and Tom Walker nails that anger. He's an actor too, like Zelenskiy was when he won. Though I'm not sure if the message would resonate once common masses noticed he's actually often against their interests—or at least against what they're afraid of.
