@masek@infosec.exchange how is this a lesson for the manufacturer?. They are not gonna lose a significant amount of buyers from this. If this story were to make it to mainstream media, they would at max need to rebrand this device another couple of times and that's it. Stuff like this needs tough consumer-protection laws and enforcement.

@cvvhrn Apocalypse now starts with Sheen's drunken solo martial arts moves and voice over. Didn't really love it. Quantum of solace sucked imo, but the beginning was amazing 😍. Yes to Basterds as well as saving Private Ryan

@audubonballroon So many untimely deaths in the (admittedly large) The Wire cast... Reddick's Lt. Daniels was a real pillar of the series. A great actor now already gone three years.

They have very recently stopped being available in Germany and Austria, for example. At least, I was able to watch a few movies that are unavailable elsewhere just before they suspended the service. I would think living in a less populated country the whole movie license disaster must be a whole lot worse still.
