@susankayequinn@wandering.shop One thing I like to keep in mind is that this has zero to do with AI actually replacing workers and everything to do with CEOs falling for the AICon that their competitors already are. When AI consters - Meta, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Palantir, OpenAI et al - layoff workforces it's to shed costs to fuel the impossible to sustain data center build-out which soon collapses when the bubble pops. The otherside of this chaos is where we all come on to rebuild new better worlds.
