When I have reason to hitch my dog to a particular spot and there are mushrooms growing there, I pull the shrooms up and ditch them where my dog can't get at them. Not taking chances. I hope mushroom aficionados will forgive me. They are just fungi I rank my fellow mammals as more worth protecting. Does that make me a bad person?
