I am a software test engineer in the US, but that's boring.
Recently drawn into the world of KoreanBL, JapaneseBL and ThaiBL dramas.
Otherwise, I'm streaming cozy mysteries and "home and garden" shows. I follow lots of topics around board games, science, tech, and travel. And I am a serial hobby dabbler forever in search of a new pastime.
I boost far more than I post. And I delete even more drafts.

@diemkay@hachyderm.io You know this already. LinkedIn is a tempest of marketing and self-promotion posts. It is impossible to find real discussion on any topic from anyone who isn't pushing an agenda for their company or themselves.
Post if you must, but don't expect the conversation to shift. For an instant, you will grab the attention of those that respect or agree with you. Then you'll be back to reading and wondering all over again.
There are places for real info but #LinkedIn isn't one of them.

@psa@masto.ai @fribbledom@mastodon.social The best one is describing the bug to your coworker in great detail and suddenly realizing the obvious solution before your coworker ever says a word.

Picked up "That Escalated Quickly" as a quick party game. We tried it out as 2-player to get a feel for it.
It's light fun that requires just a little imagination. And it's cooperative so it's very low stress. I suspect it would be a good ice breaker.

@baardhaveland @globalmuseum Do they? If the birds are otherwise nesting in cavities of rock, they can take care of themselves here. I see it as planned bird spaces rather than broken or rotting housing materials that need to be fixed.

@acemaxxanalytics@econtwitter.net This observation already feels out of date. The AI buildout is or will soon be creating shortages everywhere.
