It occurred to me tonight that I have now been using social media platforms for 23 years, starting with Friendster back in 2003, which was replaced by MySpace, which was replaced by Facebook, which led to us not replacing anything but juggling multiple platforms instead. (At one point, I insanely had 8 at once.) And now I'm back to one sole platform. This one. And there's no ads or algorithms, and I don't even use an app... just like 23 years ago. Funny how it weirdly all came full circle. 🔄

Postponed all my weekend plans and instead my husband and I got gas for the generator and snacks to hunker down with. Now this nor'easter is guaranteed to pass us by.

Man, I am super sad to learn that Trader Joe's has discontinued their Refresh Body Wash. That stuff smelled like pure bliss to me. I thought they had simply repackaged it with a new look, but no, they are using an entirely new manufacturer that makes a new body wash with different ingredients and it smells completely different... because it's a different product entirely. First world problem, sure, but what else is bringing us joy these days if not the little things? I shall miss you, Refresh. 😢

Lost power again for an hour and half this morning. Luckily we have a generator. Our sump pump also picked a fine time to break. Luckily we have an emergency backup one.
