@pheonix Legendary way to describe the issue: "The current state of the web assumes that the reader is an adversary to be trapped and monetized."
Thank you for sharing.
You have a #php #opensource project under a #freesoftware license and could use some help for code reviews, planning, devops and small bug fixes?
Shoot me a link and I'll see what I can do.
Can't guarantee I'll work on your project but I'll at least have a look at it. #development #ecommerce
Any hot new technology I need to check out? I've been catching up with my PHP, Golang, Systemd, Podman, Linux in general and started learning Postgres (been using MariaDB/MySQL and some MongoDB most my life). Book recommendations welcome, too. #developers #linux #php #go

@cstross@wandering.shop My hot take: KDE & Gnome where never usable. Ate way too much RAM for what they where doing. XFCE was better at both of their jobs. But the real heroes are tiling window managers.

@cstross@wandering.shop That's because most keyboards are not designed for humans. Kinesis Advantage is a great keyboard. On most keyboards thumbs are useless and push the space bar but on the Kinesis I use my thumbs for space, backspace, tab, alt, ctrl, mod4, page up, page down etc. etc. I am low key a bit angry that most regular keyboards are torture devices that will criple you, leaving you unable to continue to work a desk job if you use them for a while and don't get me started on mice.
