International stark vernetzt und engagiert entwickelt sys4 auch maßgebende Internet Standards: herstellerübergreifend für Internetprotokolle und Software, in Form technischer Richtlinien für und mit deutschen Behörden und als Beraterin der EU Kommission für in Europa bindende Internet Standards.

Kunden der sys4 sind sowohl kleine Unternehmen als auch große Organisationen mit besonderem Sicherheitsbedarf und / oder eigenen, großen Kundenplattformen (100.000+ Anwender).

It’s official and we are proud as hell! 😎

sys4 will send 3 of its experts to work at the EU commissions’ Multistakeholder Forum on Internet Standards Deployment „to guide deployment of key Internet standards under NIS2 network security measures and promote wider industry uptake.“

We - @cstrotm@mastodon.social (DNS / DNSSEC), Gert Doering (IPv6, RPKI) and @patrickbenkoetter@troet.cafe (TLS, DANE, MTA-STS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) - will work on recommendations and best practices.

Our intent is to recommend what’s reasonable for customer security on the Internet and we expect the one or the other company to disagree for economic reasons. Like they have disagreed since we started to talk with them more than 10 years ago. And the market didn’t fix it. Well… let’s see if working in the Forum will do the trick.

Finally, after a long Covid pause, we’re back celebrating our annually cooking event with customers, suppliers and, of course, coworkers and friends. The table is set. People are on their way to hour office in Munich. We’ll start 3 p. m. building teams and handing out recipes. And the rest is magic - as always when like minded people set out to reach out for a goal. 🥰

Sicherheit war kein Design-Ziel, als das Internet erdacht wurde. Sie fehlt uns heute. Mit der App von internet.nl kannst Du testen welche modernen Internet Standards (d)eine Domain implementiert. Wir haben die App ins Deutsche übersetzt, an unser Layout angepasst und ein paar Erweiterungen eingebaut: https://scan.sys4.de/
