The number next to the speech bubble (comment icon) are an "engagement metric": the sum of boosts and likes. It all makes sense now! https://blog.elenarossini.com/w-social-fictional-metrics-and-the-beauty-of-open-data/ (scroll down to the end of the article for the update) @_elena@mastodon.social a furry saves the day again

I bought the dual 10gig Ethernet card new, and the case. @Lydie@tech.lgbt if that's an X540-T2 based network card, you'll need a fan on it because it will get very hot.

But then I realised the metal rims stick out further than my old one and are great for scratching the paint off of any cars and vans parked across a pavement I'm using. Had it a month and racked up 3 cars and 4 works vans. 4.5 stars.</p> @fesshole@mastodon.social scratches on a work van are not a big deal, you should add spikes to cut tires.
