Spannend ist ja auch, dass von den allermeisten Gaza Aktivisten auch nicht zwischen der Zivilbevölkerung und der Hamas unterschieden wird. Jedem dem echt etwas an den Palästinensern liegt, der muß auch gegen das Hamas Terrorregime demonstrieren. Aber da gibts nur sehr leise Kritik, wenn überhaupt.

@gnomon I'd rather say their 'cloud only' push backfired pretty heavily (rather unsurprisingly to me).
How many paying customers did they loose that way? 10%, 20%? And those were the on-prem customers which paid lots of money. That's some big numbers!

Ich sehe mir den live feed an und hab mit einer sehr hohen bullshitbingo Quote gerechnet. Aber ich bin extrem positiv überrascht, daß es genau das nicht gibt. Die Vorträge sind durchwegs gut und informativ - eine gute Balance zwischen Überblick und Detail bisher.

No, legally a re-license is not possible except you have an CLA (Contributor License Agreement) which gives you this right, or if ALL the IP holders agree.
Means basically all historic contributors of parts and mechanisms which are still in use today. Point is that a simple AI driven 'rewrite' is not more of a rewrite than doing a simple code reformatting. Especially since AI cannot create IP in the first place.
It should be illegal to produce such e-waste.

Mir ist heute aufgefallen, daß die Stadt Wien auf ihrer Petitionsplattform (!) eine site analysis der Firma Siteimprovement SE eingebaut hat.
Die sind zwar aus Dänemark, aber haben teils US Eigentümer (Summit Partners), fallen somit also unter den US Cloud Act.
Hab mir das eingebundene Script noch nicht näher analysiert, aber find ich nicht gut.
Mircosoft #Office365 ist the most fucked up online editor. PDF looks really different than online.
How do professionals work with that crap?

This 'AI rewrite' code has a high chance of not even passing the threshold of originality. Thus it does not even create originary IP in the first place!
So maybe they are not even allowed to add any license to their rewrite at all? If the AI has taken the original code as base token space, then it is still the original license.

@laaspher Jein. Tatsächlich wird Europa vor allem von Saudiarabien von der anderen Seite bedient.
Allerdings fehlen diese Mengen am Markt. Und wenn zB China die ihnen fehlenden Mengen aus dem Iran wo anders am Markt kaufen will, dann steigen auch bei uns die Preise.
