When AI takes over how will it manage to fuel its own data centres which are largely powered by on site gas generators?
How will it do any of the endless physical tasks power requires?
I get the incredible danger AI poses, it's up there with the worst terrors of the nuclear era but can we take a breath when we're spreading what amounts to free marketing claims for these giant tech companies?
"AI is so powerful it's going to rule/end the world!!!" = FFS invest more or we'll go fucking bust!

A message appears on your phone, it says "you go to work now and you make sure the gas turbines are working to power the data centre OR your Google search history goes to all your FB friends@
Been thinking how AI might overcome the very obvious physical limitations it faces to maintain and operate itself. Blackmail using personal data, or similar trashing finances, home ownership, anything online or electronic.
For a country so obsessed with guns Americans seem to be shit at firing them these days. Bless.
