@rustyshelf@mastodon.social it seems surprisingly good at picking up new photos in the background without me having to open the app all that much, but I haven’t used it as much more than a way to slurp my photos to my NAS

@rustyshelf@mastodon.social I use Immich alongside iCloud so not quite what you’re asking, but it’s been a reliable way to store all my phone’s photos in another place that I own.
