@druid@toot.wales I'll stick to rowing on the Menai - the jellyfish don't seem so bad now I've seen this!

mastodon 4.6.5Ok. I hate writing bios but here goes. She/her. I'm from S.Wales but now living and working in N.Wales. I learnt Welsh as an adult and speak it as my 2nd language. I work as a TV researcher and flit between hobbies and past-times. My current 'obsession' is making art from mudlarked & beachcombed items but others include rowing, swimming, tap-dancing, playing percussion... (too many to fit here). My neighbour cut her hedge on the weekend. She doesn't have a bin for garden waste but I do, so I told her she could put her hedge clippings in it.
I put it out for collection this week, and normally they collect when I'm out at work, so I often come home and have to move the bin back out of the way to park my car, but this time my neighbour had moved it back into my yard as a thank you for getting rid of her hedge cuttings.
Cyfeillion Cymraeg! 👋

@MarkHoltom@mastodonapp.uk Four years ago I stayed with my boy, my dog named Lwcus, until the very end. Truly broke my heart (crying now just remembering) and hardest thing I've ever done but there was no way I could just leave him. Vets were superb and so understanding.
